im really fascinated by preservation of media. we have records of all sorts of popular artwork from centuries ago, but not as much from average everyday people who werent famous and created anyway. especially lost are those things created by groups that dont get a lot of freedoms. there were a large swath of trans artists under weimar germany that had their creations destroyed by nazis. contemporarily speaking, a lot of trans creators go unheard by mainstream attention. are our voices going to persist?
