Allergy Reaction

from Flea Punk by Jenny & Her Guitar

/

about

Spring time had arrived, and I was recording this album when allergy season hit hard. My allergies made living more difficult than it already was (Sophomore year was one of my roughest) but I kept going and wrote this song about how my life had been hit.
The drums screw up during the song, because they were supposed to be a double-bass pedal playing instead of the noise that got used instead. When I tried making the drum loop in my software for the first time it slowed and repeated itself, making it play twice at the same time. I thought at first it was bad, but then accepted it for being original.
The train reference was used because I had just heard "Hear my Train A'Comin'" from Jimi Hendrix's new album "People, Hell and Angels," released not long before the recording of this song.

lyrics

I can feel your pain
I can hear your train
Don't know why you think otherwise
Lost your way, go back and say
"allergy reaction," I don't get action
